New Title Announcement! Crimson Spell by Ayano Yamane
The wait is finally over! SuBLime is happy to announce that we have licensed the first four volumes of the Crimson Spell series by famed mangaka Ayano Yamane! This is a license rescue as the first two volumes were released in English by another publisher.
The individual volumes will be released on the following dates:
Volume 1 - December of 2013
Volume 2 - February of 2014
Volume 3 - April of 2014
Volume 4 - June of 2014
This will be released as a print-only title. There are no digital rights available for this title at this time.
So what do you think of our latest license? Personally, as an Ayano Yamane fan, I can die happy now. :-D

It says complete at three chapters (that could be incorrect) and if there’s no complete volume then there’s nothing for us to license, unfortunately. :-(
Into Illusion as Featured in BeBoy Gold Magazine!
Look what we got in the mail yesterday! It’s the June issue of Japan’s BeBoy Gold boys’ love magazine and look what’s on the cover AND inside! It’s the first episode of Into Illusion from Rieko Yoshihara and Ryo Tateishi. On the right is BeBoy Gold, and on the left is the 109-page bound book of the first novel/manga episode that they have tucked behind the cover of the magazine. [Correction, the Japanese version is 82 pages, OUR version is 109 pages ‘cause English words take up more space ;-)]
But for me, what’s MOST exciting is that you guys have it in English already! This is absolutely unheard of for us yaoi fans outside of Japan. If you weren’t already aware of this, SuBLime is working with Libre Publishing of Japan to simultaneously release Into Illusion so that Japanese fans and fans outside of Japan can read it at the exact same time.
We hope you check it out and give it a try so we can continue to strive toward more new and innovative ways of bringing you the best of what Japan has to offer. :-)
